2008 Haro Backtrail X3
Haro X3 FST tribute bike
I wanted a rideable, modern version of an FST - and none were available at the time I was ready to build, the X3 became my victim.
Stock X3 all chromo frame and bars. Swapped the OG fork out for a Rant Twin Peaks - I like the geo and taper of that fork. Added some flights, Blank Generation wheels and was surprised how well it rode. Original plan was paint whatever frame I ended up with red, but the green grew on me really fast, and since it was stock paint, I figured I could skip the sanding/powder coat route and just use it as is. I recreated the graphics printed the decals. Don't see a lot of red/green colorway bikes, so I decided to go with the goudy look.
