2019 Haro Mirra Pro Tribute
Lineage Pro Tribute to Dave. The way Haro should have done it in the first place! Special thanks to Albe’s for letting me come do some curb side pickup for the bike and a lot of parts!
With this bike I decided to pay my respects to the Mirra family and Dave himself. Growing up Dave was the sole rider that made me love bikes in the first place. His skill was on a whole different planet and it showed every time you watched him. The intensity and presence in BMX will never be matched again period!
So I started with the plain 2019 Tribute. I always preferred this style Pro over all the others and it just looked hard as hell with the black. I didn’t really care for the way the base bike looked or felt, so I went to work finding all the right new style Lineage parts and improvements that I could no matter how small. But the biggest thing was obviously the bars. I was able to find some beat up Mirra Pro bars and had them media blasted and powdered by a local company here in Detroit. I knew the bars were a must though on this build and I know Dave preferred the regular style bars but stuck it out with the Kneesavers for Haro and the kids that loved them so much but........ I was one of those kids ;)
I did a lot of little tweaks to get this bike so dialed and I am very pleased with the outcome. Bike weighs in at 28.2 lbs so she’s a little on the hefty side, but compared to its predecessor it’s still way lighter lol. I hope you all like it :)
