1985 GT Pro Performer

This is my true survivor. Purchased brand spankin new back in 1986. Although an 85 model, this is the one I saw on display at Van's Bike & Key Shop in Long Beach, California. (I think they're still around, but I think they only do keys now.) Anyways, the kind owner back then said,"Go ahead and take it for a spin around the parking lot and let us know if you like it....." I came back after riding around the parking lot and told my mom that I had to have it. 35 years later (3/17/2021), she's still with me. I've added a few upgrades to her like the three piece Sugino GT's, chrome 48 Araya's laced up to GT Mohawks, sitting on Tioga Comp Pool tires. I'm not restoring her yet, but eventually she'll get powder coated by professionals before I retire her.
