1986 GT Pacific Flyer 26
GT Pacific Flyer beach cruiser turned street cruiser
This bike has been hanging in my garage since 1993. It was a partially complete bike that was in the back of the shop that had the wheels, pedals, and seat hijacked. Instead of tripping over it, I decided to make it a street cruiser and ditch the rear derailleur, shifter, and threw on some steel coaster brake wheels with street tires. I wanted my stepfather to ride it around before he got sick. The bike was never ridden until May 2013. It has the cool GT stamp on the angle-cut top tube, but no 4130. The fork dropouts look just like the older Pro Series forks. The steel wheels make this bike a real anchor.
