1989 GT Performer
1988/89 Oddball
I purchased this frame years ago as an 89. I pieced it together over time and recently noticed that it is 88 stamped. It’s odd since there is a cable guide on the bottom side of the top tube like 89s have. What is really odd is that there is a hanger for a cable adjuster on the BB like an 88. I’m a little confused since I haven’t seen another. Anyone have one like this? Anyway, it’s precisely how I wanted to finish this project and love the look of the tribal decals. I have a picture of the bike Pre-tomahawk with some Tuffs. I think it still looked great but wasn’t content not having the factory look.
