2008 GT UltraBox Olympic

So, I recently picked htis up at the Sea-tac bmx show..This has been verefied by Billy Griggs as one of the frames he made specifically for Olympic ride Jill Kintner, who ended up getting a medal in the first ever Olympic bmx race in 2008. She rode this actual bike, although this is not the one she won the medal on. I am hoping to get more items to complete this amazing machine. I did also get the special Kintner Labeled Olympic rims made specifically for Jill Also.

Thanks again Paul!!

Billy Griggs When I built the GT frames in 2008 for the Olympics I also did versions per request of USA cycling with 135mm rear spacing and derailuer compatibility. There's only two of them...one for Jill Kintner and one for Mike Day. This appears to be Jill's.

Billy Griggs GAry Sansom yes the plan for these bikes was always to run a derailuer /gears setup. Disc brakes were not the reason they were built but the dropouts are from a GT Mtb and had the provision for it so we ran with it
