This is the first production GJS Bigtube #B001. Bigtubes debuted at Interbike in 1983 where it was nicknamed *The Muffler Bike*. Restored and won Best in Show at 3rd Annual Vancity BMX show.

  • Details Bigtubes were originally sold as a frame and fork only, leaving it to dealers to build as they pleased, limited only by the imagination. GJS Bigtube #001 is thought by some to be JU's personal race bike used at '83 ESPN event in LA before retiring and being bought by a young lad who turned it into a freestyler where it was used as part of a German freestyle trick team in the 80's (see B&W photo).
