3-Speed Internal Geared Hub & V-Brake Upgrade - SOLD

I had always wanted to build up a 20" with a 3-speed internal hub, and here it is.

The idea is just practical for getting around town with ease, or hitting the trail.

Gears without the chain-slap from derailleur based systems.

The hub used for this build-up is from a 1970 Firestone Ladies bike.

  • Seat: X-games padded
  • Post: Dyno OE
  • Clamp: Dyno OE
  • Crank: OE, 165mm OPC
  • BB: OE
  • Sprocket: Dyno stamped OE
  • Pedals: VP-565 Aluminum platforms
  • Rims hoops: Jaintai (36 spoke) 6061-T6 Aluminum
  • Spokes: Stainless
  • Front Hub: Mongoose (powdered White, W/Wings logos)
  • Rear Hub: 333 (Shimano) 3-speed internal-geared
  • Shifter: Shimano SIS
  • Chain: KMC
  • Misc: Custom Brake Bridge plate (modded MTB suspension fork bridge)
  • Misc: Grip ring, left side H-bar
  • Misc: Chain-tension-devices, custom made pair
  • Misc: Pad-set, made them myself
  • Plate: UGP (Under Ground Products) W/Dyno numbers
