1997 Diamondback Viper XL
Cheap Bike
I thought this was a nice 97 frame, but when I got it found that it was for 1" threaded - so had to quit it.
I built it up with every unwanted spare part I had laying around and sold it on Craigslist.
The guy who bought it couldn't fit it in his car, so he grabbed the handlebars and twisted them sideways to be paralel with the bike.
UGGG! -that's just why I don't like quil type stems.
Chromoly Viper XL frame in deep red with V-brake mounts, 3/8 drops, and American BB.
Viper XL decal look added and DB logo is hand painted gold (not me)
Haro 1 piece cranks with Fusion sprocket
Chrome 4 piece handlebars (maybe walgoose)
Tektro lever and general v-brake arms
Bell saddle
VP-550 1/2" platform pedals
Dyno threaded fork
Stem is from a Dyno Nitro - generic
Rear wheel is a 48 spoke Femco type single wall
Front is a 36 spoke Weinman style single wall
