1982 Diamond Back II Silver Streak
A great survivor bike
I have just finished restoring this bike. I cleaned up the frame and other chrome parts using just a bit of fine steel wool and machine oil - worked a treat!

Original Parts
- DB bars and stem
- Takagi 175mm cranks
- Suzue high flange hubs - spin perfect
- Black Araya 7x rims in very good condition (original but re-anodised)
- Dia-compe brakes and frame clips
- Kashimax Aero seat (with new stickers)
- SR seat clamp (original but polished as it was scratched)
- Sugino chainring (original but re-anodised as it was faded)
New parts
- Repop stickers (decided to go silver instead of the original gold)
- Repop pads
- Faun F1 grips
- New black MKS pedals
- New black fluted seat post
- New chrome plated double butted spokes
- Rainbow label Comp III tyres
I have tried to keep it as original as possible.
