1983 Diamond Back Silver Streak
An amazing one-owner survivor!
So a local guy beat me to this one, but sold it to me right away...no, not a score.
Anyway, this one belonged to a guy who got it as a present in 1983, rode it until 1986 and put it away until 2019 when he decided to sell it. The bike is in amazing shape, with DB decals on the fork steering tube and stem post. The cool thing about it is that he had the bike shop swap parts before taking it home for the first time. He had the UNI seat, the pedals and Skyways installed before his first ride. The guy I got it from tells me he has the receipts but can't find them, it's a real bummer, but that's how it goes sometimes.
It's a Japan Made model with the baseball stamp on it.
Well, I hope you like it as much as I do, it's a beautiful survivor in original condition. The only thing added to the bike as it sits is the reproduction Comp III tires and KMC chain.
