1992 Auburn CR-20RX
Finally got my hands on my final and possibly biggest grail I’ve been after since I started collecting kids bikes, thx Kyle
I had 3 requirements when searching out my grail frame.
#1-Had to be a original green finish in nice survivor condition
#2-Had to be a CR20RX because I love to ride all my bikes and I’m over 6’ so I need that leg room
#3-Had to be pre-93 because I wanted the early works link with the bend before the seatpost as those are my fondest memories of BMX
When building this bike I wanted to put all the parts I personally would have wanted from the list given in the Project Popular BMXer, not just the parts at the top of the list. I might add some flight 401’s in the future.
This frame was so sought after in the early 90’s that it won multiple readers choice awards, a couple being the 1991 And 1993 Project Popular BMXer awards which I included a couple of BMX Plus articles for reference.
