  My frame is 19.25/19.5...just measured.
  Auburn_fanatic is one of the many experts....look up a few of his threads (or search "auburn")......they explain it all.
  
  Either way it goes.....cool frame.  I have the same one in my  basement.

  Your frame serial # will be on the bottom bracket..."N9 etc, etc"....the triangle has a separate serial number.  Also...the triangle could have been taken from another frame and put on the frame you are selling by a previous owner...you never know.
  I think they made this fframe from 88-92.

  The top tube should measure 19 or 19.5 i think.....your rear triangle might be aluminum or CRMO.
