Got it bud. Will ship out tomorrow morning or latest monday
Forsale #3063 not found.
would it be too much of a hassle if I ask you to measure the width and the distances of the screw holes from top to the first screw hole and from that first screw hole to the second towards the bottom?
lol...I have a lot of xxl stem that I thought was the right size for me..Riding em on the street is fine but when I got to the track I realized I need a pro specially my bikes has 21TT atleast on all of them. Just need a shorter stem
your first pic has 1 set of holes for the chainring but on your second pics it shows 2 which is probably for 130 bcd but it doesnt line up with the chainrings 130 bcd. The most inner holes are 110 bcd right?
Just the other day coming from from guitar center I started thinking if anybody here at the forum would paint their bike with the 5150 evh theme and here it is and a beautiful bike you did this on
some members measures it from the center of the stem clamp area to the center of the crossbars. I measure mine up to the part where it actually bends by the grip area. Those are hard to come by in cromoly..Most expert bars that ive seen are aluminum
They were made in japan when they first came out ..You can tell its Malaysia made by the spindle ..Japan made has a grey plastic spindle release looks like a gear and malaysia has a silver hexagon nut :)
This is a killer deal for the set. Guys that delrin washer is a must ..Ive restored a lot of DC calipers and installing that delrin washer made a big difference on the action, smooth and doesnt have that gritty feel plus if prevents your caliper arms from rubbing together
Thanks bud. Im working on finding some for the Speedtraps. The set I have for the speedtraps have bigger head so the countersink holes on the speedtrap cages had to be enlarged or ill figure out a way to make those screw heads smaller...I can probably make em to fit but its going to be flat not like the speedtrap OG screws that has that little bit of a hump on the screw head :)
killer deal on those vp...well made pedals and spins smooth too. and Jay is right, if theres no need to remove the screws its better left alone if you dont have any plans on replacing the pedals, I restored one of these before and ended up using screw extractor for those tiny philips screws. :)
Those are first gen then came the straight one (2nd gen) and the cromoly is 3rd..they even have a prototype to this curved one that has a bunch of triangular cutout on both arm to lighten them up...This is more sought after though of all the sx cranks, Dedmann is right on the spindle installation...spindle has left and right side and if installed wrong one side would be a bit loose so dry fit it first and never tap the arms to get it to go on the spindle..I learned the hard way on my first set
Its really hard to tell the difference between the old and new ..I almost bought a few new set thinking it was the older set, if Mike didnt mention that this was new I wouldve snagged it...Still a killer deal at $8
actually the rise is where it bends, so i would say theres about 1-1/2 upsweep on that from the bend.. deduct that 1-1/2 upsweep from the total rise which makes it 8-1/2 which is pretty close to what the catalog says :D
Theres no such thing as 3rd gen XC that I know of..Theres only 2 that I know XC1 (braced) and XC2 (braceless) there is however some XC2 that came with plain screws instead of having the sun Tour or just "S" stamped on the cage screw
I run this on all my bmx bikes and they are so easy to set and adjust and paired with ody monolever trigger finger its like pulling on a Hayes disc brakes and the braking power in unbelievable...If your having a hard time adjusting these type of brakes then you got your springs backwards
This is a sweet deal at that price. I bought mine used and paid $30 for a couple of them and another good thing about this is you can switch the noodle mount to either left or right
Not being a smartass but those are actually A-Brakes..once mounted its like a letter A / as the v-brakes looks like a V / Anyone building the new Hutch this is the perfect brakes for em , it looks so clean installed
