Please don't restore it. ![]()
It's still in decent shape.....just clean it up as good as possible.
Zeronines don't come around much......keep it in survivor mode. ![]()

Re: 1986 Zeronine Pro XL
I concur. It's only original once. BTW those cranks are worth a fortune. I'd put on a nicer stem (DK or TNT), a more race oriented pair of pedals, and spend the rest of the money you save by not restoring it on a really nice set of 36h wheels (the 48s are kind of overkill, and a little out of place on that bike.) with chrome rims and blue anno hubs (Suzue sealed would be perfect for that, Hutch would look nice too.).

Things I need: Chrome MX-900s and Tech 3 (rear), 1st or 2nd gen finned Mathauser pads with original hardware.

Clean, polish & ride it like you stole it! Been wanting a 24 . . .
Racing in the 80's, idle in the 90's and now Cruzin' 24's. What do you ride?

Re: 1986 Zeronine Pro XL
Please don't paint it, like most others said here, the paint is in decent shape, they don't come around often also. It will de-value it in my opinion, physically and mentally.
I can not sit still. I have been tested for A.D.D. and A.D.H.D. and have neither. I don't need coffee, I just need a B.M.X. or surfboard to consistently ride and I'll be happy.
