1985 Cyclecraft 24

TN days crusier, from the old CC days. Most everything is NOS, but I have a few more pieces to buy. I wanted to repaint it, however, I couldn't find any stickers except re-pops. So I'm going leave it

Beautiful bike.  What's wrong with repops?  oneluv1979 has really nice repops.  I don't know that he has them in orange, but he has them in red and blue...

Your unrestored bike is in very good condition. I think it would be a shame to repaint it.

Re: 1985 Cyclecraft 24

I am restoring one of these Oldschool CYCLECRAFT 24 cruisers. I am a big guy, 250 lbs, and I ride pretty hard. My ELF handles my weight no problem (Doublecross rule) so my question is, is this frame sturdy enough for a big guy like me? The reason why I ask, the rear dropouts only have welds on the outsides of the rear dropouts, and not much at that. Anyone ever see one of these frames crack or come apart? I am building it either way, and it will be hella cool, but I am wondering, incase I wanna jump it or ride the bmx track on it. Thanks for any info..........

Heres my 2 cents.... A beautiful bike has just been reborn.. Here is the first glimpse anyone has had of it. The 80's live on....

Yes they do, but if you're talking about ELF24's red one, those are MCS Ron'C bars. wink

Re: 1985 Cyclecraft 24

Good eye there partner. I actually have Cyclecraft Fred Z bars waiting for this bike. But they need rechromed or powder coated, so for now, these white ron'c bars work, they are vintage and period correct I am pretty sure.....These are fresh powder, just like the forks. Which are Revcore. ANYONE HAVE ANY REVCORE STICKERS??? I need a set bad. These are the Revcore forks with double thick drop outs... Cool....
