Re: Nomura Nomorea who has them let see them

Love all the pictures...  thanks for posting.

I raced the cor mo versions,  I loved them.  Mine came with aluminium forks,  TRX or something like that.  Unfortunately I broke the fork in side head tube. And replace them with landing gear. I raced mine with skinny tall wheels called back in the day as "21inch" wheels.

sold both my cro mo frames in 2006.

Re: Nomura Nomorea who has them let see them

Quote from older thread...http://bmxmuseum.com/forums/viewtopic.php?id=705633&p=4

"Great bikes on this thread, brings back memories.

I raced Norumas in RI, New England and some Nationals, Went to the Grands in 84 and 85.  had a 24/26 cruiser and 20 inch. I raced them with what was called 21 inch wheels.

There was a dealer in Rhode Island that sold them, Northeast BMX in Coventry.  The cruiser was a sled and I only raced it for a short time before getting a Profile.

My dad raced on a 26 inch Noruma and believe me, you could barely lift the front wheel.

I sold both of my 20" crommoly Norumas to someone who posted a wanted to buy ad on CL in 2006.

I figured I would sell to someone who really wanted and appreciated them.

Here is the post of the excited guy who got them....

Would love to know where they are now......Serial numbers were #131 and #132.

Was it someone on here....  Don't think so because they are not pictured on this site.

Having trouble posting pictures, but there is a picture of the 26 inchback in the day, in this thread.  http://bmxmuseum.com/forums/viewtopic.php?id=603687

here is link to sold excitement.  http://www.vintagebmx.com/community/lof … 25173.html

Re: 1983 Nomura Face Lift In Progress
You sold them to Tom Pszenny. He sold me one of them (NRPWC132) and also his (1 of 3 known to exist) Nomura 24. He has long since got totally out of BMX and moved from the east coast to Colorado. I sold my entire Nomura collection back in 07when I very suddenly and unexpectedly became unemployed for the one and only time in my life (before the big Nomura craze hit) but your 132 was in my collection for quite some time. Notice it was me that started that thread in your link. Here was how I had #132 built up.
PHOTOBUCKET!!! Post #88 had a picture.
