That's correct. It's 1977 BMX racing footage from San Diego's BMX race tracks,
Rancho, Lakeside, and Las Palmas. Yellow numberplates are BMXA of San Diego
sanctioned in 1977 (orange plates for 1978). Any that are white or green are
NBA sanctioned.

I probably have that whole DVD.
My computer is ancient so I can't play U-tube videos  sad

My Dad (Bob @ The Bikesmith) gave me a DVD a few years back, that either you or Rick gave to him.
I don't remember it having any sound though. In any case it's cool to watch.

Those were the days, full gates of sidehacks!!   big_smile

Stonie,
You're Jeff Bohn? I remember you as a little kid.
Saw you at Bikesmith in the 90's when you had
that nice Mongoose Soulution Pro race bike.
Hope you're doing great.

Yep, I'm Jeff.
I don't remember seeing you at the shop in the 90's, sorry.   sad
Then again I was drinking way too much back then and don't remember much.     roll

I'm a dad now, so I cleaned up my act. Just busy raising our 6 month old son.
My other son is now 7, but still acts like he is 3 years old, at times.
Probably gets that from me, I don't even come close to acting my age either (41)  tongue

I vividly remember that Solution, all I have to do is look down at my thrashed shins.
Man, those Mongoose Square pedals did a number on both shins. Oh well, scars don't really matter.

The only thing I have left from that bike is the Landing gear fork I had custom ordered
for it straight from SE in the late 90's (San Marcos). Those guys at SE took like 3 months and gave me the run
around every time I called them checking up on my order/fork. All I wanted was some canti mounts
on a standard 1 1/8" threadless fork, how hard could it have been??  LOL.
I have that fork in the reference section here at the Museum.

See ya....
