only 4 on the museum have Tritons out of 45 and 3 belong to one member. I think they look good. Those black pedal are pretty nice too.

Your Definitely hating, I didn't see/read anything positive from that comment, which makes it a hating ass comment. With a name like joker I was expecting some funny stuff, the homie joker from my hood really earned that name. Maybe you should be "Hater-man" seems more fitting for you. All your previous comments on other threads are just as weak.

go cry in your mommys boobs little man. jokerman nailed it with his 'spend a bunch of money' comment.

added via edit....

i was going to list the parts this was going to have (to back up the spend a bunch of money comment he poisted) but i deleted that part.
this was before i saw it built and i actually got 3 of the parts dead on.... early profiles, esp stem and a shotgun seat. tongue
add some tritons, graphite tuffs and a jmc seat post and you got 99% of all rare-as-hell-builds
.... or some sonlite/sst hub if you dont go with graphites

yawn

rare builds are SOOOOOO predictable lol lol lol

Haters are gonna hate no matter what...or they just jealous.

Alan there are far more people who like seeing your builds vs the haters.Keep posting them updates.

Re: 1983 Nomura Face Lift In Progress

i think the gas pedals are cool. i would dip those gas pedals in something to brighten the magnesium up to match the rims shade closer.
that would look really nice IMO.

maybe some gibbs
http://www.roadsters.com/gibbs/

not polish or sanding them or anything but just to remove some of the corrosion.
its also a good idea because they need to be protected.

yeah!  some noob hater comes in to call out someone for hating? maybe learn what hating is
before you spout off to get your post count up.

saying a rare frame is going to be built with expensive parts and being able to list
those expensive parts (or at least some) is not hating but shows how predictable these
kinds of builds are.

if you need to know what people hating on something is about, just post one of these
nomuras frames chocked full of up-polished SR parts or repo porkchop parts.

Re: 1983 Nomura Face Lift In Progress

I would rather see these kinds of build threads rather than another callout thread about someone getting scammed.  Threads like these actually contribute something to the site. For instance, I've never heard of those ugly ass Profile pedals until pkripper68bmx started posting about them. So yes, it's educational. Keep posting, Alan!

Re: 1983 Nomura Face Lift In Progress

Bike looks killer now, I love the chrome bars, wasn't feeling the black bars personally.

I can't recommend highly enough using a set of chain tensioners to help save the dropouts.  This style work well & have been made for decades, so they're era correct.

http://uploads.bmxmuseum.com/user-images/210143/01_chain_tensioners59bf3338ce.jpg

I wouldn't overlook a clean set of Hutch pedals.  Although they aren't quite as rare as the Triton pedals, they're a little cheaper & are a bit more era correct for 1983.

I run Hutch pedals on my chromoly Nomura & have the Tritons for my DG looptail cruiser. cool
