Re: Thinking of buying a Fat Ripper 2018 PK Ripper

These SE retro bikes aren't for sale by Amazon. They're advertised for sale through Amazon, but sold by an SE dealer called DJ's Board Shop.

And it's cortect that only 500 STR-26's were available in the USA this year. And they were all pre-sold to dealers before the first one shipped.

That's the word.

Well, the video didn't load. LOL

Let's try some pics instead. I keep the tires rock hard and ride the Fat Ripper just like a BMX bike.

Re: Thinking of buying a Fat Ripper 2018 PK Ripper

I did a 27 mile round trip today on my 2017 FAT RIPPER with about 35 psi - the bike runs and feels great for cruising at that pressure - really effortless.I had about 1.5 hours rest in the middle
The seat is uncomfortable for me after about 10 miles but maybe i need more saddle time on that particular seat.
I rode down a flight of stairs on the way back - ideally i would have had less tire pressure or rode them faster or A LOT slower with brakes to stop the jarring effect of hard tires

Re: Thinking of buying a Fat Ripper 2018 PK Ripper

I think Todd or his bike has super powers - mine wont ride up a flight of stairs and then jump over a bike at the top - i almost snapped my neck riding DOWN  a flight of stairs today

Re: Thinking of buying a Fat Ripper 2018 PK Ripper

To be fair, I think Mr Lyons has skills on a BMX bike that a lot of us just don't have. But that being said, it's all about getting out there having a go, the bike looks fun - but me personally would take the STR over the FPK. Both very cool bikes though, as always SE rock even if some of the colour schemes are a bit odd.

LOL, yeah, I doubt if I ride it like Todd. Delivers today, along with the STR. Hoping that Fat Ripper has rock capabilities. I'll test it.

I doubt he has super powers, but he is a professional bike rider and has been all his life.So that might just be why he can ride like the way he does.

Next question. 1981's. Are they worth 3000.00 each? Local guy has them. I'm thinking. Lol.

they do look nice and have good parts. torker cruisers are. A bike that's hard to find for sale. not to many out there. so price could be fare but not  as in by it and flip it. for more $$$. I only road one once for a small bit. there nice bikes when set up wright.

Todd shreds.

I just bought the STR-26. If it's anything like the OM Flyer, I'm good.

Sold my Big Rippah to a brada from Aeia.

That's awesome. Mines here and fun. Can throw it around like a BMX. Tires are not good for my http://uploads.bmxmuseum.com/user-images/241712/img_618359cc242de3.jpg
terrain though. Good for street.

Re: Thinking of buying a Fat Ripper 2018 PK Ripper

I was sooo undecided on whether to buy a Fat Ripper or the OM DURO.

Well I picked the Duro because of the multi speed and LOVE it.
