I think that I still have one or two - but I may have given all my decals to Darcy for his collection a couple years ago. My memory is that there was a tractor involved.

If you find one Wade, would you post a pic? (Or a scan?) I'd love to see the artwork. Who was the artist?

I can check later. No idea for the artist on the first graphics - probably a friend of theirs from Saskatoon.

Re: Basic Bykes Co. -- Catchall of information regarding BBC

So I looked through my sticker collection, and I did in fact give all of my Basic stickers to Darcy a few years back. I had OG Small Town Hick, Big City Bastard, Andrew Faris Aura, and Postman stickers. All gone.
I did find my 18 Wheeler sticker and two patches, however (these became the Basic Streetfighter).

Just recently posted on the FB Canadian Old/Midschool BMX page, by JoEy Russo -- his 1996 STH, in brilliant condition!

Re: Basic Bykes Co. -- Catchall of information regarding BBC

yikesyikesyikes
A recently (about two weeks ago...) sold 1993 BBC Small Town Hick. Was in New Jersey. Now... (?) These are some of the best closeup pics I've ever seen. And it was sold for... wait for it... less than $300. I could cry.

Who's got it now?

The above frame was part of a lot that also included (by the looks of it) a 1995-6 STH as well, with Graveyard disc and Kore forks. http://uploads.bmxmuseum.com/user-images/74011/22446851_10159322706155431_1308713842_n59e15a3351.jpg

Re: Basic Bykes Co. -- Catchall of information regarding BBC

1995-6 Catalog. Best pics I've got, unfortunately.
Interesting to see that the Streetfighter and STH have the new style graphics, but the Sluggo has the OG style decals.

Re: Basic Bykes Co. -- Catchall of information regarding BBC

Were the basic frames sold as F+F sets? Or were the forks more of a generic thing?

I just picked up a NOS set of forks and I was trying to work out what frame they were form if any?

Re: Basic Bykes Co. -- Catchall of information regarding BBC

i have no clue about f/f sets. Seems to me they would have come as a matched pair, but it being the lean days of the early 90's, maybe you had to pay extra for forks...

Anyone know for certain?

Re: Basic Bykes Co. -- Catchall of information regarding BBC

Dan I actually bid on this but just didn't have the funds to go up any higher than I did. I'll regret that one for a while. This is the same 1st gen. STH listed in the museum. You can see it's missing the cable guide in these photos as well as the ones on the museum.
