headed to town for riot fest and wanting to ride the garden and big marsh...............................need info on which trains/buses would be easiest to get to those spots

I waited for months for the X show in Chicago to be announced,  turns out they are playing riot fest. Im kinda bummed. Last year they played at the Metro and it was amazing!  I have no interest in going to these festival shows now a days.

Oh yea! Dont get me wrong,  there are some bands coming I would love to see. I'd love to see Dinosaur Jr again!

Not sure about bus or train, but the Garden is about a 45min ride from Douglas Park, where Riot Fest is being held.

Big Marsh is basically impossible to hit via public trans, you pretty much HAVE to drive there, otherwise you'll be putting down some serious miles.

This.  I wish I could give you first hand info on routes, but I honestly don't know.  I think going from Riot Fest to The Garden (and vise versa) could involve the Blue Line L.  If you have addresses/points of interest, this website is helpful:
