1987 Dyno D-Tour

Old school freestyler

Recent purchase Detour, bought on bmxmuseum from Brandonio. I took it all apart and cleaned it, hit most of the chrome with a polishing wheel. The OGK mags were in great shape, but faded, so I hit them with a few light coats of vinyl dye. I think they turned out pretty well.
I tracked down some lime green parts to go with the lime green outlined decals I picked up from Dynocrazy. I am generally not a fan of pastels and many of the 87 D-Tour decals out there are some shade of pastel, so he helped me out with this particular set.
I had fun putting it together, but I don't think I can bring myself to ride it. I want those tires to stay green!
