Re: BMXMuseum<--->Newbie Guide<--->Pro Membership<--->How To's

How do I change a topic name that I have created? also within a topic post#1 can I add quick goto links to a specific post? Say a topic has 100 pages and some cool stuff is posted on page 50 can I add a quick link to page 50 on post #1 can we do that on this site?

You will have to report your own post and in the report state the topic/header change.

Second question: Click on the time right above the users post and it will take you to that specific post in the thread. Copy and paste that to take you to that spot.

One thing that I have seen over and over on the BMXmuseum is members willing to tarnish the reputation of another member by leaving nasty feedback before trying to resolve a problem like a reasonable human being.

In my 6 plus years as a staff member , this pisses me off almost as much as a scammer.

Re: BMXMuseum<--->Newbie Guide<--->Pro Membership<--->How To's

How do I find specific posts by a member? I can go to the members profile and it will show threads that the member posted in, but without going page by page, how do you find the exact post by that member in that thread?

ABA Member 1979 raced La Mirada Regional Park and Azusa. 1979 Mongoose Motomag red first store bought bmx. Early JMC bought used at Azusa track had Blue frame, chrome Cook Bros. forks, chrome Redline fluted post, blue Suguni cranks last seen at garage sale in 1984. sad

Re: BMXMuseum<--->Newbie Guide<--->Pro Membership<--->How To's

Ok,I'm new...I made a couple of mistakes,but I will try to stick to the rules from now on.I have become a Pro member,so hopefully I can ask some questions and make some deals.I was very into BMX racing,freestyle and ramps in the 80's and worked hard to have some great bikes back then.I have always continued to ride BMX and have two sons that love it too.Now That I found this site I can hopefully talk to some like minded people and dive in even deeper.As for the debate about asking the value of something.. In my post I really wanted if it was a good bike,I never really wanted a dollar amount.i did get the wind styler and it was a great deal(the advice of a member about the western H neck being a good thing sealed the deal for me).So thanks to everyone who helped out,I may ask some rookie questions in the future too but know that my intentions are good.Thanks

How the heck do I get an AVATAR picture to load here for my profile avatar. Also, whats the deal with some members having bold nicknames under their avatar pic's?

Avatar must not be any bigger than 160 x 160 pixels and 80000 bytes. Title / nicknames here http://bmxmuseum.com/forums/viewtopic.php?id=460846

Just crop it.  Do you have MS Photo Editor on your computer?

Hutch Fun Facts: All main line Hutch's with digits only S/N (no letters or baseballs) on the rear drop outs were US made and had their dropouts stamped between late '83 and '86.  Obviously the frame manufacture would occur slightly after that, even if they just threw 'em in a bucket randomly.  There is an obvious date code in that the first 2 digits seem to be the month and the 3rd digit is pretty obviously the last digit of the year running from '83-'86.

That I'm not sure of, I have a cheap ASUS laptop that I got for a Xmas gift in 2015. I'm not that "Tech-E" when it comes to computers...I know how to turn it on and surf the museum tho! lol

" Select images to upload ". The blue box right above the submit button.
