Re: 1986 Skyway T/A

The reason I've went with the tioga layback with support bar is that I'm not exactly the lightest of people now and well the last time I was on a bmx I weighed something like 8 stone. I'm now 13 stone but am losing weight so looking forward to my first drop-in in over 15 years.........I'm shitting myself.

Saying that I've just bought a Shimano DX Seatpost (Chrome & blue) so will probably use that when I show the bike.

Thanks for looking

Almost looks like a pit bike.. Those laid back seat posts bend easier than straight ones.. very stoke ride..

Re: 1986 Skyway T/A

I too wish to build up one of these. I think the Skyway TA is the most beautiful frame ever made and the color combo is what I too had in mind going back to my early teens. The funny thing is I too plan to use a Tioga laid back seat post with a support as I am no longer the same weight lets say 100 pounds compared to my now 170 today. I know depressing but lets keep on riding right? Great bike and happy to see it.
