Sorry teamharo but your wrong, it is a 90 version. In the "2 HIP RIDE LIKE A MAN" video, you will notice in the king of vert final's Mat Hoffman just got back on haro late 89 and rode a prototype sport frame in that round, which they did release a small quantity globally in 1990, here in Australia they weren't even released so we had to import from the states privately.

That's right, it is a 90. I know because It's now in my garage. Got it from the bikenut himself yesterday. sn starts with 90. This is a rare bird. There are no sports in the 89 and 90 catalogs They don't officially come out untill 91. This is one of the old limited release early 90 bikes with the decals from the 89 series of haro's

You should do a Mat Hoffman KOV '89/90 bike. If I recall that bike was all over BMX minus and Ride. Didn't it have a red landing gear fork, gold dx pedals(I think) and a pink uni seat in one incarnation? Wasn't that also the first landed 900?

Original (I think), 90,bashguard master stickers went for $186 on ebay. Sports would be very rare indeed.
I will look thru my "archives" for a Hoffman pic.

Hellmutt, as soon as I get a 90 sport I am doing the sticker kit. I was the one that sold the 1990 master decals for $186us. That's what I payed for them back in 2005. I bought them to copy and re-make the 89 master decals in pink and yellow. Now I have done all colours for the master's in 1989 and 1990. These decals are all screen printed and perfect, if anyone has bought a set off me please let me know how happy you were. There are a few small changes on the 1990 sport decals but not much. I am on it! Teamharo

i just realized that i saw one of these '90 frames on ebay last week with a buy it now of $60, it had been spray bombed red and all the parts were junk. i noticed the coaster brake mount and overly bent rear chainstays but thought nothing of it untill i saw this post, damn it.
"This should be a no brainer guys. If you think the wife would disagree with the bike/price tell her "Honey, I bought this for you. I LUUVVVV you...". And then proceed to put it with your other bikes and tell her she can never ride it. lol"

My god.i wish mine never got stolen.I bought one new via mail order bitd and never saw one like it again.Now i know why.DAMN.Def one of the smoothest bikes ever owned.

Do it up! Are you gonna do it "stock" or custom. I still vote for a Mat Hoffman tribute. Unfortunately, when I looked for old BMX mags for pics of Mat BITD, I found they had been thrown out. Darn it Mom!

i would like to do it as close to "stock" as possible, but am finding this to be difficult (check my other thread asking about the bike) as there seems to be little to no information out there about the bike (stock). what was on the Hoffman bike?
either way...right now i've been getting doors "slammed" on me one right after the next on this one. forks have been IMPOSSIBLE to track down...
