yes a 25.00 seat that  paypal got their cut and the post office got paid to deliver  and i get to pay for !!!

osborn, if there was no insurance on the package, its not hb4dj's fault. He cant control what happens when the package is in the systems hands. Never trust the US postal service. As for the seat, get the post office to find ouyt. they know where the damn package was from. it will be post marked from where it was shipped. Trust me i know. my mother in law is a postmaster.

Sounds to me like fault lies with the post office, not with hb4dj. I've spent 1/2 hour opening his packages.   No way anything would fall out of that one.  Take it up with the post office for locating lost item. buy insurance for 1.25.  saves a lot of grief.

yes and this is your pm to me !!! what did you think would happen when you filed a paypal dispute !!!!!!!! anyways i dont usually ship a 25.00 seat with insurance  and i dont expect anyone else to unless i request insurance !! hell i just bought 300.00 skyway t/a  bars and didnt request insurance  because the guy i bought them off i know he packages stuff well and why dont you post a pic of how seat came out of package without being cut out !!!  anyways back to your pm what  other 2 messages did you send that were not answered  just post them here because i didnt get them !!!  and i answered your 3 others in one day !!

E-mail  PM look i don't need the money back from you i just needed to know where the item was shipped from so that i could have it located...  i really just want the seat...  i sent you 2 messages with no response yesterday...  i did not know that the paypal stuff would affect you... this has never happened to me before...  i'm truly sorry...  but like i explained to you i needed to know where it was shipped from to try to locate it...

Hehe, I have bought from you before and I remember having to get out a razor knife to open the package.  I thought you must have owned stock in 3M Tape or something.

yes i get free packing tape from a vendor that i do business with by the boxes !! so when i pack stuff i know it has to be cut out !!! thanks for  the feedback !! appreciate it

I think that someone opened it cause of damage and said hey I can make some money on ebay with this then packaged it back up. Or hes bull shitting ya. I was involved in a trade where the frame and wheels were in same box but when I got it it was wheels only and we never got info on frame. So someone got a free 83 chrome viper. SUCKS

Sooooooo.  What prompted you to contact PayPal with a dispute before trying to get the address from him?  I don't think anyone is arguing that there was damage.

Man.  Look at it from his side.  He received this in the mail instead of a seat.  He asks you about it, you tell him , No I sent a seat.  He is freaking out because he has nothing.  He goes to the post office to ask for help, they want to know the address it is coming from.  Passing the buck.  He tries to contact you twice to get the info, and nothing.

If was stupid to file a paypal dispute.  It wasn't your fault.  but it seems to me like open communication would have solved this from the beginning.  He was just asking for help.

I may be missing something, but I agree. Thats how I see it too
