Re: 1981 Torker

Gotta disagree with supergoose on this one.  Make it a display piece......much more rare NOS, than built, even if it were a showpiece.

Compromise build it up and stick it on the wall of your lounge so you can stare at it all day

Kosy...
Don't build it!Package it up and send it to me...hahaha!I think it would look great with a blue and gold color scheme...blue rims, gold hubs, blue bars, gold stem. You get the idea.Alot of them from BITD were like that.Whatever you decide,I'm sure will be nice.

Supergoose,

Bars should be there today.  At least that's what the PO told me.

This was my first freestyle bike (flatland).  I loved it emmensely and had it until I retired it for a shiny new Boss in 86.  I barely remeber the boss, but the Torker in remember every detail.

Re: 1981 Torker

Nice F&F. I have a similar one but no one can seem to tell me what year it was made. Is that defanately a 1981? Can you tell me the serial number or at least the letter prefix? Any help identifying my F&F set would be much appreciated. My serial # is PT4285

^Thats crazy.^

Build it era correct with NOS parts. Sweet sweet piece of history. What good is it unbuilt? Make it a bike not just a frame set. Show the hell out of it! ~MX-III

To Nealsky,

if the letters on your Torker begin with PT then it was made October 1981.

Don't listen to anyone else. If you never got around to building it. Then get rid of it. Just let me know first!
