1994 Standard Lengthy

94 Standard Lengthy. This bike is brand new. Built back in 95 and stored ever since.

94 Standard Lengthy. Me and my brother built 2 of these bikes that are exactly the same except for the frame color. His is Candy Red and is never been riden either. We wanted to build the bikes that we never could afford, so in 95 we started buying the pieces. The bike has a Standard seat post, strip bars, and chain. Profile cranks, neck, and seat post clamp. Peregrine HP48's chrome w/sealed bearings and Peregrine platform pedals. Gotta love it.

Sweet!  do you have pics of the candy red one as well?  I think the colors were derived from Rick Moliterno's Hutch days.

Re: 1994 Standard Lengthy

Welcome and WOW beautiful 1994 Standard Lengthy!

Don't see many in your condition.

  1. Is the Standard seat-post stamped or stickered?
  2. I have a low serial number  (JL 94020). What's yours?

Here's my CL find many moons ago:  wink

Cracked seatpost but still makes a good rider.
Would love to see pics of the candy red.

Cheers!

My stash.  Ride on. smile

Re: 1994 Standard Lengthy

Wow that is a nice build, I found a NOS chrome 94 Lengthy f&F on craigslist locally in the summer on for $200.00. Had light surface rust speckled throughout it so I got the guy down to $150.00 and I got it home and the rust lifted of easily with turtle wax! Still has the original Standar Bykes 94 Owners manual, I should add it to the museum but I wanna get it together first

Beautiful bike.

Does anyone know what these bikes sell for? Maybe not this pristine one but say a used one?

Re: 1994 Standard Lengthy

Nice ride man! My buddy "Benny" had a Lengthy, it was an awesome frame. In fact I fell in love with Standards because of that frame. If memory serves me correct though...weren't the HP48s unsealed/silver 48s? I had a set of the Peregrine Super Pro 48s on my Dirt Bike that were Chrome and sealed.

Re: 1994 Standard Lengthy

These bikes were so at the top of there game. Made right here in the great USA. Also man. From a well known factory. That has always produced great bikes.
