1974 Redline Squareback
1974 Redline Squareback
At first we all figured this was #3. It was speculated that the number three had been punched over due to a bad stamping and then restamped until it took correctly. But that was not the case.

Great frame, I think your serial number is 33X and not 103.

Re: 1974 Redline Squareback
Ya the text box cut me off.... It is # 33X ( The red text in the photo shows that) They started the serial #'s at 100 so it is really the 23X frame made. Quote from Lin K. " Your frame is a very early one, made sometime in 1974. It is not however, #3. We started with number 100. Someone stamped over the other two numbers" Thanks Stone age.... you have some sweet bikes yerself! Hey....you have a pair of simi motomags don't ya? what kind of coaster guts are in them puppies? I just found a pair (great condion) but no guts.

Re: 1974 Redline Squareback
There wouldnt be one 33X there would be 10 of them: 330, 331, 332, 333, 334, 335, 336, 337, 338 and 339.

Re: 1974 Redline Squareback
I have sold this frame ans fork a couple of years ago... Someone has it for sale on eBay now ( sept 2012)
They have placed my name(tatersalad) in the auction title and are referring people to this web site to view it.
I have nothing to do with the sale. The seller did not ask me for permission to use my name... At this point the seller is unknown to me. Buyer beware....
