1986 GT Pro Performer score. Sweet survivor.
I noticed this today on CL while sitting in the 7-11 parking lot waiting for my friend to run in and get coffee while on the way home from work. An hour later, it was in my truck. Gotta love those pick ups. No angst-filled road trip, hoping the bike is still there when you arrive
Thank God for smart phones.
Price? Don't worry about that, just know I couldn't have bought a new fork for what I paid for it ![]()
I will be replacing the brakes and the tires. The tires are very ride-able, but not really worth risking. Anything else I should swap out?

Bars seem bent?

Why are people so uptight about what they paid for shit? People are always posting up what they "scored." Oh you paid fair market value for something desirable? BFHD. Cool story bro. If it ain't cheap it ain't a score.

He may not have said exactly what he paid, but he said enough that I'd call it a score.
Oh, and just basing this off the stickers & slack HT angle - it's an 85.

Thanks Bill. that's actually a bad job on my part. I said 86 because that's what the ad said....but clearly not 86 decals. My bad.

Far from jelly of that bike. It's cool and all, but i'd only buy it if i could flip it. Not what I'm into. And my post wasn't really directed at the OP, this thread just put the thought in my mind.
Anywho... Are the forks bent or do they just look that way?

No. It's the headtube angle, and the forks on these had lots of rake.
