Well with all the guys from last time already bugging me to pick another ride date we have chosen September 22 which is a Saturday.If you wonder about entertainment please check out the post in catchall from the last ride.We saw just about everthing you could imagine on a ride.On the route there is Flatland,Dirt,Trails,and just some fun Street to play on.We will again plan a stop at the Local Bike Shop to hang and have some fun.Afterwards we will chill with the Grill and beverages back at my house.This will give you almost a month to clear it with the War Department or make and plans as needed.As offered last time if you wish to hang for the evening bring a tent as we have a large backyard to camp out in.Hope to see you soon !

Very Cool.I know a bunch of Locals who do not Internet that are in.We have been tweaking the ride nightly to try and get more stuff in on a shorter ride.

Hey Terry- maybe want to start the ride early so some of us that help out at the BMX track can participate! Why not do this on a Sunday?

Not too early .....I would take advantage of Sat. Ride so I could sleep in my tent after the festivities.

I would go for an earlier start time but not to early.Sunday is out for most due to Church, this is why Saturday has been chosen.What time ? Anyone please chime in.I think we will also have 2 groups as well.the Fast and the Well.....Not so fast.We spent a lot of time waiting on the slower group that could have been spent having fun !

Depends is "HE" still working there ? Ziggy as well as some others are just plain Slow !

P.S. I think your wife needs to ride with us after her little challenge last time you were here !

I'm at church on Sundays as well, Saturday would seem like an ok option for me(not to early we have to travel). I hope more people from chitown come out as well. I hope that the mad(ison) boys and yhe brew-town gang make it out to our event on Sept 15.

We will be in attendance to Elgin.There is a Badger game in town on the 22nd as well.Kickoff is 7:30 so we should have some really interesting things to look at if we come back by the stadium again !

Yeah that's why I vote for later start time so we can make the ride last till 7 or so.

Downtown will be a ZOO if we wait to long.I becomes a safety issue with drunks and auto's.I have first hand experience with this and Titanium to prove it ! I would say close to the last start time would be best.Possibly start an hour earlier this time ? Can we all make it to the park by 10 ? ERRR 9:30 for you guys who are always late

Hope you can.It was a blast last time out.This time has the opportunity to be better.I am still trying to do the multiple rides within a ride based on rider strangth.Maybe start earlier with faster riders and meet along the way ?

Hmmm...Now, staggering start times might be a good idea. If you did that, it might make more sense to start the weaker riders earlier and have a designated meeting point -- perhaps a spot to grab lunch. I've learned through experience that different riders truly have different needs when it comes to rides -- especially ones with a large rider count. I already know my MIL is watching the kids that day, so I think I need to request the day off from work...

Well Guys ? What do you think about a map and staggered starting times ? All will end in the same place and time for Brats and Burgers like last time.I know ther was some complaining done by the faster guys.

The Madison BMX track crew is in for 9:30 til 1:30; then we gotta boogie to the track for set-up (Ben, Marty, Buck, Maurer, Aaron, and some others). So couple hrs to ride and lunch stop would work.
Then, racing is done by 7pm and could head back over to the partay:D
Remember- the following Saturday 9/29 is the OS show/swap and track ride, cookout at the BMX track 9am-7pm!!

Well, I don't ride too often so I will probably be in the slow group to keep from getting sweaty . I would like to try to keep up with the fast crew though, but I might be pushing my limits.

I have it down on the calendar too so it's looking good for me to make it.

What is the start point addy?

I do not know if the park has an Addrress but it is Olin Park located off of Highway 12/18 John Nolen Drive Exit.Really easy to find.If you wish call me 608 669 6537 and I can talk you in.Pretty easy to do.
