CHROMIES READ PLEASE-CHROMIES PLEASE READ = Metrolink is ready ! Note from A metrolink CONDUCTOR: GET THERE EARLY to buy your ticket. 60 people trying to buy tickets at the same time with the train leaving in 5 minutes is a PROBLEM.We know how to ride the trains chromies !!- So be ready to load and make it smooth.THE RIDE WILL END before the 4:15pm train leaves back to LA. we just have to keep the HOTLAP on schedule. so ALL ABOARD!!!!! The train will be the hassle free and most cost efficient way to go.------IF YOU ARE DRIVING:::: the drive will take @ least 2 hours (plan accordingly) with weekend TRAFFIC-( Hey,,everybody in LA wants to see SHAMU ) So driving is more freedom but more headache coming down(possibly).We will meet in the open parking lot north/next to the transit center. DANGER: the ride is leaving @ 12 NOON SHARP. BE THERE EARLY.(this ain't a LA ride that leaves an hour later)reason being- we need to complete the ride and be back with time for everyone to load the LA bound train. If you choose to utilize the train, this will be a great adventure, a AWESOME beach ride with great scenery.IF YOU DRIVE, you might catch yourself in bumper to bumper traffic when you get into san clemente and coming into oceanside ( no bueno).It's after a 3 day weekend so could be a little lighter(doubt it). I will tell you though- weekend traffic going to SD in summer is KOOKOO !! We have a HOTLAP contest and cold TREATS @ the 1/2 way stop. it's going to be a BLAST.The HOTLAP starts on time. PLEASE PLAN ACCORDINGLY- ALL ABOARD !!!! - any questions ????post em-- let's wheelie !!!!

Callin on my CA 4130 family for some driving advice here. We're are coming out early that morning from AZ , which is gonna work better for us? If theres a better way than these let me know. We are stayin the night in Oceanside so getting there is my only concern right now.

We can come from the north and take the I-10 to the I-215 to the I-15 south

Or come from the south and take I-8 to I-805 to I-5 north

Any help would be great and Thank You.

I would take the 10 to the 215 to the 15,that's my boys opinion who went to school out there but lives here in LA

Damn chromies... The only thing on my mind today is The 4130 Subway Series BMX Ride/Oceanside Hotlap this Saturday mane!! To all the chromies takin' the train down (Like I am... Cheech too) We're going to meet at Union Station at 8:15am!! Get'cho BMX there, Let's Do This 4130 S.S.R. Style!!

Phoenix area, I-10w towards LA or I-8w towards SD are both good options for us.

And I can wait for the ride too!!!! It'll be nice to get out of the desert for the first time this summer.
