This bike OOZES coolness!

1959 1/2 Schwinn Panther II I picked up in a trade over at rat rod bikes. All OG except tires, grips and pedals. I just need to source out the tank, light and front rack.

Thanks fellas. She's far from NOS at 53 yrs old and not restored. Just had an easy life. Never ridden hard nor put away wet.  tongue

That's great! Would love to find one of these in that condition. Take care of that bad boy.

Re: This bike OOZES coolness!

The bike came with the tires. I'll try to check with guy I traded with. If I find out, I'll let you know.
Thanks

Re: This bike OOZES coolness!

Niagracycle.com usually has a decent selection of tires like that, in 20" and 24" also. They have some nice Comp II style blackwalls still as well.

Re: This bike OOZES coolness!

Looking for the tank (in black), light, and front rack that are the same as on this Panther. Gonna be a long shot!  sad

Re: This bike OOZES coolness!

I have that exact same front rack on my '59 Hollywood. Has overspray on it, needs rechrome or something too, but I just confirmed it looks identical to that one. So, that's maybe something else you could look for, a same-era Hollywood. The women's non-tank bikes sell for a whole lot less than the men's especially with tanks!

Re: This bike OOZES coolness!

Thanks for the info Mirage. I figured the level of difficulty in finding replacement parts would be: (easiest to most difficult) 1.front rack, 2.tank, 3.LIGHT
