ok......

i recently ran into my friend lars tribus who was a pro DH mtn biker for quite a while.....

well, it seems he is now the president of HCBMX.org a race track in flemington NJ.

they are interested in doing an old school event (swap, show and race) at their fall classic race.

gauging any interest at this point.

Are you going to limit it to pre 86 bikes again?

If i help out, im doing this for a friend. Whatever the track feels is best will go...... It would probably end up as quilled stem and caliper brakes or simething like that

Maybe 2 bike-age classes if there is enough interest

Cool, we should talk at some point, I'm working on a bmx swap @ EHT BMX (and possible OS race?) on 11/3 as part of the Toys for Tots race. I'm starting to work on a OS race series w swap meets for next year at the local tracks, with the proceeds either going to the track or a charity of their choice.
I'm glad to hear Lars is in charge @ HC, I havent seen him in a few years, but he's a great dude.

also on Saturday September 1 we're doing a family day w swap @ EHT BMX (Egg Harbor) for those that want to get in some practice on a track to get ready for the Old School Race @ HC BMX

August 26th at CJBMX has been put on hold new date coming. Due to the state finals the track operator has suggested another day.
