Hi guys recently got a April made 1982 torker and was wondering if any1 has or knows the list of original parts I need??
So far I have the frame and fork, nos 6 bolt stem, nos torker bars
And that's about it. So just wondering if any1 can help me work out wat else I need.

Tryed, only found the 280x which was released late 1982, not the same as the torker which came out April of that year

I have the og handle bars, stem and torker stamped spider.
Just don't have pics of them yet
Need to know what I will need to build it up as it would of come many years back og

I'm pretty sure by 1982, most of the early companies, like Redline, Torker, Mongoose were offering both kits, and, lone frames or frame/fork sets. So, to say there is a "right" build may not be the right approach.

And, Torkers were race bikes. Even a complete bike if someone raced it would likely have had mods to it.

So really I could just put the best stuff on it and do it the way I won't and it'll be all good?

I think that's one option. Depends on how much you are into the brand, vs. how much you realize that normally one company didn't have the full boat of the best parts, and a mix of parts is perhaps a more "real" option.

For instance, I have a 79 Cook Brothers. Seems everyone builds a CBR with CBR bars, slant stem, dog bone cranks, hubs, etc. But, that's crazy money, and, not my style, so, I've built mine with only CBR frame/fork, and then used other nice parts that make it unique.

November 81' BMX Action mag there's a Torker ad shows a complete but no break down of parts.
