Here's two old school Schwinn Stng-Ray Krate bikes. The white bike is a 1970 5-spd Cotton Picker and the sunset orange bike is a 1973 5-spd disc brake model. These are all original and have never been touched up or torn down and turned into lesser bikes. The Orange Krate has all its original paperwork too.

Awesome black Sting Burchy and you know I love those rare black KKT's. The ONLY thing I'd change is to get some allen seat guts for the sweet seat. WE WANT TO SEE THE RED ONE!

Being built now
When I was asked what I would choose, Living till I was in my 70's but in a wheelchair or living 10 years but being able to walk. What whould I do. I would choose 10 years of walking, no doubt everytime. well I am now on 20 so "Thank You God"

Good question.
I never and did not know of anyone who raced with Sting bars, they were too small. To be honest..we would just chuck them into the trash along with the cheap Schwinn stems.
I have plenty sets of the Sting bars, but for the most part....I build them like I would have raced them.
And Paul said $$$, those NOS GT Pro bars sell for more then the Sting bars.
