Re: Orlando area monthly ride

Hey Everyone...

Talked a little about this Sunday.  Looking to have a ride from place on Saturday the 28th.  I am South of Downtown (Michigan/Holden area).  Thinking of maybe an earlier start...10:00 AM?  No great bike trails in my area, but the neighborhood is bike friendly and there is a cool park we can ride through.  After riding we can hang by the pool and BBQ.  I like to plug the kegerator in at least once a year so this will give me a good excuse to clean it out and get it running.  I will make some Brats (my famous Upper Pennisula of Michigan recipe) and of course everyone would be welcome to bring anything else they want.

Let me know your thoughts and how that date works.  Could probably do it Sunday the 29th if that works better.

David

Your offer sounds good, David. Saturday typically is better than Sunday for me. Let's hear everyone else's vote.cool

My invite is still open.  Would like to get a head count during the week so if you are planning on riding 10:00 AM Saturday from place please respond to this thread.

So are saying not riding Saturday, or riding Saturday and next month?

Next month would be tough for me to host because of back to school and other stuff, but a downtown ride next month might be cool.

Let me know if we are still on for Saturday...if you guys would rather ride from somewhere else I am fine with that.  Just let me know either way.

Sorry Lou, I forgot to check back in this thread. We were on the run and didn't have a chance to do any ride, but I appreciate the offer. We'll have to try something to get down and stay for longer than a few hours in town. big_smile

Yourselves, a bike to ride, a bathing suit.  And if you want to bring anything to throw on the grill.  I will have brats and hot dogs for everyone.  The keg might not get done because I am currently in the JMC vortex (thinking Sat would be a good test ride if I can get my s__t together).  But I will have plenty of frosty beverages either way.  If you want anything to drink besides beer you should probably bring that.  big_smile
