This is how I found it. All OG excluding pedals, seat, tires and pads.
I think Anlun made the 86 Laserlte. I dont see any Nitto or Tange stamping anywhere. The serial is only numeric with no letters or origin of manufacture. There is a slanted K stamped on the frame and fork drops, Kuwahara stamped on the flat brake bridge and Anlun on the post, bars, crank and stem. Factory painted over the chrome frame.
Other OG 86 parts include Ukai rims, Sansin hubs, DC 883 Nippons, DC 128 lever, Duralumin chain ring, Suntour arrow clamp, Suntour XCll pedals, Tioga headset.
From a marketing perspective, this appears to be the year Kuwi lost direction and dumped their core audience in persuit of freestyle trends.

You know that metal plate in my head? I had to have it replaced because every time Catherine revved up the microwave I'd piss my pants and forget who I was for a half-hour or so. So, over at the VA they had to replace it with a plastic one and it ain't as strong. So, I don't know if I ought to go sailing down no hill with nothing between the ground and my brain but a piece of government plastic.
