had a question or proclamation,

looking into hutch pro bars, they are pricey, dont know how much they were ITD, i never had a hutch before

so, being they are well over $400.00, if i wanted to cut them down, would this detract from the

value of them. if iam going to be cutting my bars down, should i just look into buying steel bars

rather then the authentic's

cut down bars makes them pretty much worthless, $400 down to $50, get some steel bars

Don't spend $400 on Hutch bars and cut them down, buy something cheaper for that of course. Unless you like throwing cash down the drain.....

If I cut the middle bar off my Profile champ will that hurt the value?I mean it would make it lighter right?Some of the questions asked on here make my head hurt.

i doubt i would cut them. this is going to be a rider ( daily ) but with hutch parts, all. i do not mind paying high dollar

i ride and drop my stuff hard. just break it down rebuild it monthly. if not weekly no problem.

Hutch bars for $400? Cruiser bars maybe. You can find used Hutch Pro bars for much less that that.

Just buy some used ones and if they are a bit rough, cut them. If you find nice ones, get used to riding wider bars.

I think Hutch pro bars just hit the $500 mark now that you mentioned ruining an OG part and making them THAT more scarce ........see if JDB has a new set and do it and increse the value of his repop stuff

Cutting them will reduce the monetary value. Mentioning cutting them will increase the shock value.

If you pay $500 for Hutch Bars, they better be real rare...Like NOS 1st gens. Even second Gens are going for no more than $350

Why would you pay high dollar to cut up parts and build a bike, only to leave it lying around to get stolen like your last one? You make no sense at all.
