Bringing it back to life

My 9 year old has been bugging me to get him a bigger bike.....

I figured I can breathe a little life back into this old one....
Gonna be a fun little project!!!

I actually remember these bikes when I was younger , I'm sure your son will love it . My 8 year-old wants another old school bike , because his 87' Predator weighs a ton . lol . cool

Got her all torn down now and am beginning the cleanup....

Ordered a new Tioga Headset
New Dia-Compe Brakes all the way around
New tires and tubes... Lime Green of course....
New knockoff Mushroom grips...

Pics will be coming soon....

sweet!!  cant wait!!  i want the handlebars if you decide to use different ones!  my brother's white one back in the day had the same set and i would use them!

I am working on the handlebars.. they are kind of rough.....

I thought the handlebars were one of the coolest parts.. that and the twin tube....

I am in the market for a new seat.  the original Dominator seat that is on there is cracked in a couple of spots..

I seem to remember there being a trik top seat that was white with a green pad...  I think that would look pretty good on the bike, but not sure if they even exist anymore...

If you hear of anyghing, let me know....

My sister won one of those oreo bikes back in the  day...  the ones with the disc wheels.....

I am considering redoing that one too...  just for fun....

I sent my brother-in-law a pic of the Streetdancer and he now wants me to re-do his old bike....

Looks like I have been bitten by the bug...
