Thank you, it was hard to find all the parts, I really enjoyed the hunt.
I never thought I would find the Peregrine parts.  I have a NOS Peregrine doughnut style seat clamp in the mail.
I'm also waiting on the Forklifter bars from C4 Labs.

With yor new post, I thought for sure you'd be posting a pic of the other RL-20II NOS frame that just was for sale here.

I'm very disappointed.

Damien - a pleasure.  And thank you!

The set is officially sold now Gents, but I'm going to leave this FS thread open as there is some nice info floating through it.  Anybody else have thoughts / opinions about the endlessly debated / discussed provenance of Japanese / Taiwanese / 1985 / 1986 and beyond RLs please chime in...

You got it, I'm going to put it on the wall with it's twin.

The two NOS sets will look killer together, black and white, killer!

They are both RL-20II's with a serial # beginning with 51.

I will post pictures of them together etc...

cool

I will have to move my NOS Supergoose.

The thread has a lot of great Redline RL-20II info.

So you did get that other one? I had no idea and thought someone else did. Nice work. I was saying I was disappointed you didn't buy it but I guess you did.

Lets see a picture of the twins together for a family photo.

It's so funny, two people predicted I would buy that frame set, it's incredible.
I guess it was meant to be.  I will definitely post pics of the twins.

why the heck would you powder the bars if you aren't going to build the bike or use them???  hmm

I am a perfectionist, the bars need to be the right color.  It only cost me $35.00 to do them.

The bars are NOT original red.

Re: RL-20II Parts (My Way)

Funny the chrome on the RL-20II was never very perfect.    I remember taking notice of this when I picked mine up back when I was a kid (I was always a perfectionist).   In fact I think the chrome on my 600b was a little better.  Looking at these NOS pictures I am reminded of this.  Hutch chrome on the other hand was a thing of beauty.  Kuwahara also had especially brilliant chrome, my brother's Exhibitionist's chrome was like a mirror.

The Exhibitionist was made by Anlun and so is this RL-20II, that is strange about the chrome.  I do love the Exhibitionist, no expense was spared on that frame set. People say the chrome on my NOS Supergoose is terrible as well.  I guess it's all how you look at it, LOL!
