Frame dropouts are welded inside the rear triangle also, just not smoothed out like the outer welds.

I gotta disagree as i kept hitting the inside of my left ankle on the quick release arm.
So after doing some digging i found this old thread of yours Ryan: http://www.vintagebmx.com/community/lof … 03703.html
Decided to give it a shot anyway and there must be a different length seat stays from a non-gusseted frame to a gusseted one (didn't think to compare them for measurement before posting) or the Pitbull2's have a different arm length from the Pitbull1 one you originally tried this on.
Regardless it worked out and i couldn't be happier:
Looks alot cleaner to me:
There is 7/8" clearance from posi clamp to cable hanger with 1/4" remaining with the lever to the grip and skidding the back wheel:
The caliper is mounted as low as possible in the brake bridge so i had to manually file down the brake pads to line up perfectly with the angle of the sidewall on the rim with the wheel being mounted right in the middle of the drop out.
To me i like the look more:

Re: S&M Widowmaker Registry.
Nice work Leatherman! It does look clean...
How's the function? Does it totally kill a 901?
I need to compare a pitbull 1 and 2, as for sure a pitbull 1 doesn't fit on my widow.
Just bought a 901 because the pitbull 1 doesn't fit.

ILLISS, is that a Widowmaker? I'm looking at the flat plate brake bridge and thinking it's a 1st gen 24 "pre Widow". If so, is that serial 026?

Re: S&M Widowmaker Registry.
I've posted a bike and some research I've done on the 1st gen 24 "pre Widowmaker" here: http://bmxmuseum.com/bikes/sandm/59005
As of now, the known frames are these:
1. drchopper - 017
2. Ryan Partridge - 020 (OG chrome & stickers) http://bmxmuseum.com/bikes/sandm/59005
3. ILLISS - 026 http://bmxmuseum.com/forums/viewtopic.p … 5#p1966005
4. kcmobmx - 037 http://bmxmuseum.com/bikes/sandm/13137
5. 1pccrank - 039
6. S&M collecter so cal - 087 http://bmxmuseum.com/bikes/sandm/31226
7. powersbikeshop - 093 (factory blue paint) http://bmxmuseum.com/forums/viewtopic.p … 3#p2754503
8. GAry - 104
I've noticed that numbers 087 and the blue 093 have the later style machined headtube that are found on Widowmakers and just about every other S&M of that time. I'm curious about the chainstay brake bridge on these frames as well but I can't find a good photo of them. I'd like to see some pics of Gary's 104 and also the 039(not sure if 1pccranks still owns it).

Re: S&M Widowmaker Registry.
Here's 039...Same CS bridge and headtube as mine...
Still curious if the blue 087 and Gary's 104 have the same CS flat plate bridge as the rest of the frames or is the their headtube the only difference...
