When you jump a set of doubles and your back wheel clips the top of the landing jump. Sometimes there are nose cases, thats when they jump a set of doubles and they dont clear it at all, they just slam front wheel first into the face of the second jump, those are brutal but funny as hell to watch

Yep, same thing. You can jsut clip the jump and destroy a rim or you can fully case it and destroy a frame and or fork. I killed a General Lee back in themid to late 90's. I nosed cased the jump real hard real fast and ripped the head tube off the bike. The whole front end shot out while I was still gripping the bars and the rest of the bike cartwheeeled behind me. Im sure it was funny as can be for my friends (they laughed their asses off) but that bike never recovered I had I had scabs from mid forearm to mid bicep on the underside of my right arm and enough dirt burn on my right shoulder and back from rolling into the crash to keep from scraping my face off

For me it's a motocross term. Hitting the bottom "case" of the motor.
Hit the back wheel = coming up short
Hit the front wheel = endo

The word "case" when used in slang can also mean "to examine or survey".

Ive heard it used in this way as well... Jus sayin:)
