Apart from Taj being one of the sickest riders of all time, this is what inspired my Taj build. Still under construction but will be complete soon.

Swapped the Barefeet for some Tioga Street Blocks.  Really like the fatter tires on it.

Re: Whats your midschool rider!? mid 90s-2003ish

This is my daily retro rider, its based on a midschool Haro Revo.  i'm using new and midschool parts to look sim to my Ground Masters of 1991 and 92.  I just got the parts back from the powder coater.  All turned out like glass.  I can even read the H emblem on the back dropout.  The color is apple green and white.  Rims are the sameapple green but are not ready yet,  still at the coarter....

not sure and too cold outside to go check right now on the year and the post...

that kind of post was alloy and they came on 96 diamond back reactor pros
like this one: http://bmxmuseum.com/bikes/diamondback/916

they were a pain to adjust if i remember correctly lol

I had a Redline chromoly post of similar design in the 90s.  Hated it.  It took forever to get set right.

ChillyWilly263?  Oh it gets better,  in the winter time,  I toss on a rear and front ski and use it on the slopes lollollollol  No but for real, I hope to get my rims this weekend.  These guys did great work on the white powder.  150.00 for everything, brakes, frame, fork, seat post, stem and clamp.  I'll have to settle up with them on the two rims,  Im looking at 50.00 for them.  They'll be on soon.  Until then,  i'll pray for snow and install the skis!loltongue

I need to update the pics of my Challenger and get a family shot of the 3 retro Redlines we have.  Here's the 95 DK Pro I built for my step daughter.

Yeah, I wore out my copy of Nowhere Fast watching his parts. What a maniac. I was hard on bike when I was younger so I decided to build a tank of a street bike, and who better to take insperation from than Dave Young.

I had SNAFU metal platforms on it, but they were a mess. Those Odessey twisted pedals are the first new part I have put on that bike in probably a decade. Built to last.
