Got my bike donation up and running.

So I started up a donation page in my home town tonight. Anyone out there have any pointers or tips for me? Facebook.com/evansvillebicycledonation any help is appreciated. I'm starting with six bikes. Hope this thing grows.

Re: Got my bike donation up and running.

Work with your local school districts, police, and fire. Reach out to family shelters, and crisis centers. Some times I'll catch a kid walking or on a scooter, and tell him to have his parents give us a call. As for support, and sponsorship. things are very slow right now for us, but I haven't been campaigning either. Let your heart drive you, and compassion be the steering force. You will have plenty of smiles under your belt before the year ends.

Re: Got my bike donation up and running.

If anyone wants to send loose nuts and bolts my way that would be great. I'm getting some basket cases in here!!! Thanks. Mainly 3/8 wheel nuts and 1" stems. Tires and tubes I usually pick up. I'm up to 12 bikes as of now. It's gone fast!!!! I can pay shipping or whatever. Thanks guys. big_smile

This is a db I got from a friend who runs a pawn shop. New tubes and a little paint work it's good as new.
