There really needs to be a rule here about posting Ebay links.  Seriously, when some people are  bidding on things, they really don't want the world knowing about it.  I mean, if you found an awesome bike on Craigslist and you were planning on calling on it, you wouldn't like it if someone posted it here.  Just saying smile

No there shouldn't - put yourself in the seller's position...these types of post in various forum sites most likely drive the price up.

When you go to sell your NOS items, tell me you don't want all the visability possible to drive the price up, similar to what your thread is all about with regards to your first gen Profile cranks post:

...it's basically setting the basis to inform everyone you have these and eventually when you sell them you'll have a strong return. Smart move for sure.

Like they say "All is fair in love and war."

Can't and will not be able to please all the people all the time regardless of what "rules" are imposed on the masses.

Boycott BP and their products.

Not really horseshoe pedals then are they? lol I doubt he bought them like that, I have never seen a set of Profile pedals come stock like that.... but i'm always willing to be proven wrong!

You are correct Trevor.  They are not HORSE SHOE pedals and they are not sold as such in the auction.  They are MAGNATANIUM MINI pedals.  The PRO Full bodied pedals are called HORSE SHOE pedals.

Both pedals could be had with Ti axles at quite a price BITD.  ...and BTW that is the way they were made-with the ends cut off on the MAG MINI pedals. wink  All Mag MINI were magnesium bodied-as far as I know you could NOT get a MAG bodied PRO Pedal.  Magnesium is very brittle so the odds that the pedals all broke the same is not correct.  It's also been confirmed by a few in the know. cool

Top row- NOS pro pedals, Used Pro Pedals (Horse Shoes)

Bottom-Magnesium Gyrolites, 2 sets of Magnatanium Mini pedals with Ti axles

Hope this clears it up,
Scott

What are the ones without the raised letter PROFILE in the center, looks like they just had decals in the ad?
