Re: gauging interest on a Washington DC area ride and/or meet.
Larry, Mike, thanks for the snaps. It was a great time, as always. The Fueler is now ready to launch, so I'm already looking forward to the next time.
I kind of had the same initial reaction to Mike's bag as Larry did, but then it occurred to me that I could picture Magnum P.I. wearing a shirt with that pattern, so it's cool. In any case, the tunes definitely took things up a notch, and the mix was dead on. Nice one, Mike.
Chill, Hank. I'm blessed.

Hey quit bagging on my bag, lmao.... I got it on vacation in Cocoa Beach for a beach/bike bag cuz it matched the Redline with the purple, and besides, it was full of money, lol, that makes it ok:lol: But damn I forgot the sun screen again, lol!!!!

You know what that picture up top is missing....... a 24" Looks like you guys had a good time, Larry had his usual 50lbs of gear, wish I was there. I did go to the new dirt jump and flo tracks today in Howard County, Md. Haven't rode like that in a while a few more times and I'll have my balls back jumping is awesome!

I want to take my babe girl to the trails with me today, but it's way to hot for her

And the other reason I can't take her is because his big silly butt has separation anxiety

Because they has been together since they were allowed to come home w us. So yea that's 8 weeks old to now 1.6-7years old.. There funny together

Re: gauging interest on a Washington DC area ride and/or meet.
I hope everyone had a good Father's Day. I definitely had a good day. I ate like a King, received a few cool gifts and took my Daughter out to teach her how to ride a bike. It wasn't successful, but we had a good time trying. ![]()
I got a cool box to hold all my misc parts that were laying all around the house, a custom-made BMX hat and a retractable back/nut scratcher. Kids buy the funniest gifts.
My Daughter working on her Goose, getting it ready to ride.

I love it. I'm stealing the box idea. Just the other day I was thinking I needed something to store and organize my spare parts.
I got a custom BMX bike sculpture that my wife and son made, and a pair of Oakley Monster Dogs.
Chill, Hank. I'm blessed.

I'll be there with a few friends. ![]()
Those guys in Philly always put on killer events. Great free food, awesome bikes, cool prizes, etc. If you're only doing one event this year.... this might be the one to hit! Last years BBQ was fantastic.

Re: gauging interest on a Washington DC area ride and/or meet.
Thanks for the comments on the sculpture, guys. My wife is an artist, so I get cool stuff like that all the time. Last year it was a mug with a hand-painted BMX bike that she and the boy did.
SARON81, I'm a big cornball, too, when it comes to kids. I was all happy to see Larry's daughter with her pink dice valve caps. My boy has blue ones. That kind of stuff. My kid really is old enough that he should be printing and spelling better, but that card still cracks me up.
So this Philly deal is yet another in an increasing series of things that is pushing me toward a minivan. I'm trying to figure out if I can fit both bikes, me, and the kid in my little Ford. I suppose I could go all the way old-school and just lash the bikes to the roof with Bungie cords, but after all the bike rack horror stories I heard on Saturday, I would probably be courting disaster.
Chill, Hank. I'm blessed.

I'm renting a big 'ol SUV for Philly. Do what you gotta do to get there. The more of us that go, the more fun it's going to be. Only a couple days to go! Getting psyched! ![]()

Yeah you should get there however you have too take some wheels off and get themin there if you have to that's easy to put back on. I got rid of my Mini and got that Nissan I have because I couldn't put a hitch rack on it or fit a 24 in the back. But whoever can should go its going to be a good event!

And another thought.... I don't know how to do it but we should change this post name to DC,VA, and MD rides or riders? This seems to be the meeting spot.

A preview of the Fueler: http://bmxmuseum.com/forums/viewtopic.php?id=432204. It's up in my bikes well. The boy and I both will be rocking GTs soon.
