Stolen bike! Parts may be returned!
So a long time ago a bike was stolen from me, my 1999 S&M Kris Bennett. A kid kept buggin me to trade him wheels which mine was an odyssey ross plyte, hazard rim in black, black nipples, red spokes laced to a female odyssey v2 hub. It recently showed up on a kids bike at school here
The one that kept wanting me to trade... he just left. Now i wait...
You NOS part is not new old stock if its in stock at my local bike shop!

What's the point of having a bike if you're not going to ride it?

Re: Stolen bike! Parts may be returned!
do you have pictures of your parts/ bike that was stolen? without them you could end up getting in more trouble then him.
I use to work at a night club years ago, and one night my car got broken into and my stereo system was stolen. well the dumbass that stole it put it in the back seat of his car and went into the club, so when I found it I smashed his window and took my stuff out, well long story short, I was arrested that night, my property was kept by the police, I was charged with vandalism and breaking into his car. I spent the night in jail, got bailed out and had to go to court 2 months later. Only reason I got my property back was because I had pictures and most of the receipts. but I still had to pay for the guys window and had this on my record.
Sometimes its just easier to call the cops and let them handle it even tho payback is sweet it can still cost you.

So, what's the story? It's been all day.
Whenever someone says, "I'm not book smart, but I'm street smart," all I hear is, "I'm not real smart, but I'm imaginary smart."

Re: Stolen bike! Parts may be returned!
Well it was last semester in school i rode my 1999 S&M Kris Bennett with nice parts all over! I had it there a few days and this kid kept bugging me to trade him for his cheaper wheel. I had a custom odyssey wheel black rim and hub and red spokes and female bolts. Well i ride to lunch one day and come back lock my bike up and then going to leave 2 hours later and the lock is cut and bike is gone!
So i filed a police report and then now like 7 months later he rides his bike to school as always and suddenly my wheel ends up on his bike! So now im going back to the police tommorow and going to do a bike check! As i wrote all the custom parts down in the report he even has the same exact tire...

Re: Stolen bike! Parts may be returned!
Unfortunately the police said there was no way to prove the wheel was mine so they couldn't do anything because there was no seriel number on the wheel. Cop also lost my original theft report ![]()

Re: Stolen bike! Parts may be returned!
Street Justice , necklace him .
Necklacing is the practice of summary execution and torture carried out by forcing a rubber tire , filled with gasoline or diesel fuel , around a victim's chest and arms, and setting it on fire. The victim may take up to 20 minutes to die, suffering severe burns in the process.
