The ultimate example of marketing over substance, but I have to admit, I dig the marketing.  The bike looks cool, and the video makes me want to ride.  I also live in a walk-up, so I make the same schlep before every ride.

The fact that anybody would spend 1200 bucks for it, however, makes me worry that BMX is going the way of road biking, where $5,000+ Taiwanese "racing" bikes are now the norm.  I hope they lay a big, fat egg with this project and end up blowing these out for $300.

As for one-piece cranks, count me as a fan.

Someone should go and build this same bike. Looks possible, just start off a similar frame with gusset then......add kashimax seat, diacompe 100 brakes and levers, dicompe seat clamp, some tange looking grips, nitto bars, some 94 gt looking chainwheel, victor/suntour bear claw pedals, checker bar pad. and wallah.

well you know this being a kids site and all i hate typing the "P" word but just by using Porkchops site and being on the generous side of the cost of the wheels($150) i got a total of $446. without the seat which is difficult to price ($50-$80?) and the f/f set. which should not cost more than $150 for a nice "all metal" one with a gusset anyways not trying to knock Stussy but this is BS.  $1200 for that bike is unacceptable.

that was me fool. i got 4 trash bags worth of stuff at the last one i went to at mira mesa high school. i'm all about stussy but this bike is pissing me off.
